Gate City vs. Powell Valley

Guys, tonight it going to be a tough game. Hit them hard and often in the mouth at the start and keep it up all night long. I know the lose of Parks is hard but you all have some really good running backs with Jordon Estep, Payton Jenkins, Jessie Broadwater, and Dustin Jones. Don't forget about throwing the ball. Tihlee, you have really surprised me this year. I figured you'd run first, pass second and for a while i was right until now. you've become comfortable in the pocket and are extremely accuarte. recievers...caught the ball tonight. defense, be tough and let them know that this is gate city's house and nobody beats us without one heck of a fight.

I heard that There was a couple of Powell Valleys main players out tonight!!! I dont know if that is true or not but I do know that Parks is out for Gate City!!! But GC has some good backups so I am going to go with GC by one touchdown. Maybe more if GC can catch the ball Whan Anderson Throws it!!

Oh well What happend to Malcom is he hurt bad? I dont really know who to go for then I think it will be close? I hope it is close i dont want Powell Valley to blows us out! I know we wont blow the VIkings out there a pretty good ball club.

Thats true you know how last year went? We had the vikings held and they pulled threw late and ended up beating us!

Yup, I also remember 01 in the playoffs and the game PV won 3-0 back in the early 90's. Both teams have won games when they weren't expected to.

And we all remember the infamous (for GC) playoff game last year.

Nobody, not even PV, expected PV to hang 47 on GC and hahve GC nowhere near beating PV. GC played PV tough first quarter. I think the score in first quarter was 10 to 7 in favor of the Devils? And halftime was 20 to 13 in favor of the Vikings. On my way back from 3rd quarter break, PV punted off and GC muffed it and PV got it back and since that happened, the Vikings ran wild all over GC. After PV made it 27 to 13 I expected GC to answer it and maybe the game come down to one mistake or big play by either team. That fumble on GC's punt return team hurt them tremendously.

From the end of the first half to 4th quarter PV scored 34 unanswered points. The 2003 Gate City team would put at least 30 points on the 05 GC team.
